Rooting an android smart phone is pretty risky because of which most of the people don’t try this but some people are ready to take the risk because they want those advancements in their smartphone. If you follow all the steps in this article which will lead you to have a rooted mobile phone. It is very easy, you just need to download a bunch of things and you will be good to go.
Before starting the rooting process, make sure that your Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has unlocked Boot-loader. Search on Google on how to have your Boot-loader unlocked.
1: Make sure that your phone is charged above the 50 percent charging level or even more but not less than this because rooting takes a lot of time and if the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 5 shut down during the process then your Samsung Galaxy Note 5 can be bricked.
2: Backup all of your personal data in your personal computer and make sure it is safe, although this process is not a data-loss process but still it is for safety purposes to back up your data.
3: Enable the USB debugging from the developer options under settings.
4: To enable the USB debugging, you must enable the developer options first which can be done by tapping on the build number a bunch of times, like 5-7 times and the developer options will be enabled, from where you can now enable USB debugging.
5: Download Verizon Samsung USB driver from this link, Download Samsung Note 5 USB Drivers
or by searching on Google.
6: Download Odin from the following link, Download Odin Tool or search on Google for it.
7: Download CF-Auto root file from this link, Download CF ChainFire Tool or search on Google if you want to.
8: Install the Verizon Samsung drivers on your PC and extract the Odin and CF auto root application. Copy the Uni-kernal file in your PC.
9: Turn your Samsung Galaxy Note 5 off and enter it into download mode by pressing and holding down the volume down, home button and power button.
10: Connect your smartphone to the computer by using an original USB cable as the cheap and fake ones are faulty and can disconnect in-between the process which can brick the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 5.
11: Launch the ODIN application, and it will display the message of ’’ADDED’’. If for some reason, you do not get the message then repeat the above steps and you should be good.
12: Click on PDA button and search for the Uni-kernal file and select it, tick mark the auto reboot.
13: Press on start and it will start the procedure and if you did the above steps according to the rules then your Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will be rebooted in some time.
14: It will reboot after some time and then you can download ‘’ROOTCHECKER’’ from play store to check for the root services.
