”Yes, but seeing you cry makes my heart hurt more.” Wang Yu said gently.
”Sigh…” Mu Zi Xian sighed and said, ”At that moment, I really thought I won't be able to see you ever again.”
Old Wang was rude and unreasonable but some of what he said made sense. Wang Yu had always been destined to be an eagle which soared high up in the sky with no boundaries. However, based on Mu Zi Xian's abilities, she could only help him stay a small chick. To change someone she loved from extraordinary to ordinary made her almost give up.
”Dumbo, that's impossible!” Wang Yu laughed.
Mu Zi Xian asked, ”Are you really contented with living so ordinarily for the rest of your life?”
”I never wanted to be a hero.” Wang Yu said.
If anyone else's husband said such unambitious words, they would be upset. Only Mu Zi Xian felt a tinge of warmth. Since they had been through loss, she understood what it felt like to regret nudging him on to achieve more.
”If you want to be a hero, will I be your burden?” Mu Zi Xian asked.
Wang Yu smiled, ”Without you, how can I be a hero?”
”Haha, you are sweet talking again. Those guys must have taught you this.” Mu Zi Xian smiled after hearing his words as Wang Yu never spoke like this.
”Yup, Brother Spring taught me that.” Wang Yu nodded.
”What were his original words?” Mu Zi Xian asked out of curiosity.
”A hero is not made by himself. He needs people to protect and love before he can become a hero. Therefore, every husband and every father is a hero. Within Quan Zhen Sect, only Wang Yu and I can be counted as heros.” Wang Yu imitated Spring Halo's way of speaking.
”Hahaha.”
Seeing how Wang Yu imitated Spring Halo so aptly, Mu ZI Xian's unhappiness disappeared. She held Wang Yu's arm and said, ”Come on, rest for a while while I cook!”
